1: Cappadocia, Turkey
Cappadocia looks like a fantasy movie scene, but this place is completely real. Its tall rock towers, cave homes, and wide valleys already look unusual, but sunrise makes it even more unreal. Hundreds of hot air balloons often rise above the landscape, making the sky look like a scene from an adventure film. The strange rock shapes were formed naturally over thousands of years, while people later carved homes and churches into them. At first glance, it almost looks designed by a movie studio, but Cappadocia is one of Turkey’s most famous real travel wonders.
