Hanging Out Became Less Talkative
Meeting friends at the mall or food court used to mean long conversations, shared snacks, and maybe one group photo on a small digital camera. Today, friends can sit together while everyone checks their own screen. The moment is still social, but it is split between real life and online life. Phones help people stay connected, but they also change how silence feels. A table with old cameras and modern phones looks like two eras sitting together.
