9: Popcorn
Popcorn looks light and simple in a bowl, but close-up it becomes a strange rocky structure. The white popped surface turns into cliffs, caves, and cloud-like formations. Tiny brown kernel pieces hide between the soft folds, making the shape even more interesting. What we usually see as a quick snack becomes a detailed landscape when viewed closely. The rough surface, holes, and uneven edges make popcorn one of the most surprising everyday objects under a macro lens.
