The Tiny Bus Trick
At first glance, this photo looks like someone is holding a full-size city bus between two fingers. The crowded crosswalk, tall buildings, and busy street make the scene feel completely normal—until you notice the hand in the foreground. The illusion works because of forced perspective: the hand is very close to the camera, while the bus is far behind it. When both line up perfectly, your brain reads them as being the same distance away. It is a simple camera trick, but it makes an ordinary street moment look impossible.
